Circa 1970's. Sensational articulating diamond flower brooch made by Robert Altman. A few of the diamond stamens in the middle are articulated as well. Moving one of the leaves in the back opens and closes the flower. This is a wonderful example of fine craftsmanship and ingenuity. In very good condition.
Metal: 14k Yellow Gold
Stones: 16 diamonds approx. .75ctw VS-SI clarity, H-I color
Dimensions: Brooch is approx. 1.75 inches when fully open
Weight: 27.8 grams
CONDITION: High magnification photographs show considerable design details, and this piece is in very good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
