Unheated 7.00 carats Ceylon sapphire and French-cut diamond Art Deco platinum ring circa 1930. Accompanied by a report from AGL stating that the approximately 7.00 carats cabochon sapphire has not been heated and is of Ceylon origin. Unparalleled color like that of a tropical blue ocean, crowning the center of a genuine Art Deco platinum mounting, simple and elegant. The Ceylon sapphire is burnished-set between six French-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.60 carat, approximately G color and VS clarity. There they are, channel-set, three on each side, like the stripes on the shoulders of a high ranking official. What is there not to like about that? For over three decades, Jacob's Diamond and Estate Jewelry has been in the business of selling a carefully curated collection of antique and estate jewelry.
