Scarf-brooch 1970s gold and diamond brooch. An undulating design composed by three separate abstract motifs, each characterized by a white gold field pave-set with diamonds within a conforming corded yellow gold frame, the diamonds totaling approximately 1.75 carats, approximately G - H color and VS - SI clarity, mounted in 18-karat gold, signed Ornata. Excellent quality of workmanship and materials. The brooch features a hinged section and a concealed barb that allows the jewel to be fasten to a garment, such as a scarf, interlaced through it.
