GEMSTONE: one free-form opal weighing approximately 2.22 carats.
DIAMONDS: sixteen round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.17 carat, approximately H color, VS clarity.
METAL: 18-karat yellow gold.
WEIGHT: 6.7 grams.
BROOCH PENDANT MEASUREMENTS: approximately 1-3/8” (3.50 cm) long and 5/8” (2.20 cm) wide overall. The twin pin stem is curved to allow wearing the brooch as a pendant.
BACK RUBBER CORD: 16” (40.60 cm) long and 3 mm wide completed by a sterling silver lobster clasp.
CONDITION: high magnification photographs show considerable design details, and that the item is in exceptionally good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
