The classic octagonal earring design gloriously elevated by a circular motif centering upon a 7 mm cultured pearl ringed by a course of prong-set diamonds framed by 5 mm cultured pearls. Indeed, a pair of simple, but utterly elegant earrings featuring beautifully matched Akoya cultured pearls with very rich luster and thick nacre. They seem to glow with their own internal light. Mounted in 14 karat white gold, the diamonds totaling approximately 0.50 carat, omega clip backs. A jeweler can easily solder a post to convert to omega with post backs. Unique estate Akoya cultured pearl and diamond white gold earrings circa 1950.
