This Jadeite Jade and Diamond Platinum Yellow Gold Cocktail Ring from 1970s is set with one natural untreated oval double cabochon green Jade stone measuring 17.13 X 12.01 X 6.48 mm. This large Jadeite Jade stone is surrounded by 20 round brilliant cut diamonds.
Back in 1970s, this beautiful ring was all handmade. A testament to times when the beauty of the mounting was as important as the quality of the stones.

JADEITE JADE: Natural translucent green Type A Jadeite Jade, known in the trade as "Fei Cui" Jade, weighs approximately 11 carats.
DIAMONDS: 20 round brilliant cut diamonds total approximately 1.40 carats, approximately VS clarity, G-H color.
METAL: 18kt yellow gold and platinum.
WEIGHT: 10.2 grams.
MEASUREMENTS: 7/8" long towards the fingernail and 11/16" across the finger.
RING SIZE; Size 7, and can be sized.
CONDITION: high magnification photographs show considerable design details, and this ring is in good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
