French Victorian Yellow Gold Long Chain

French Victorian yellow gold long chain, circa 1890s

  This all hand made chain was used as a lorgnette chain necklace back then.  Today it can be worn many ways long or short.  Pictures below show two different ways to wear this chain.

SPECIFICATIONS:

METAL:  18k yellow gold

DIMENSIONS: 60" long by 4mm wide. Plus a large sport ring on the end.

WEIGHT: 29.1 grams

CONDITION:  High magnification photographs show design details and that this necklace is in good condition consistent with age and wear.
