Art Deco diamond onyx and platinum dinner ring circa 1925. The rounded design features three larger European-cut diamonds bezel-set across the finger balanced by vertical, twin courses of French-cut black onyx stones, on a slightly domed, filigreed and milligrained platinum mounting frosted with fourteen smaller, similarly cut diamonds, all together the diamonds totaling approximately 2.00 carats, approximately H – K color and SI – I1 clarity. We love all the drama brought about by the geometry of the design and the play of light between the sparkling diamonds and the black onyx. It is so Art Deco! It is worth while noting that dinner rings, such as this one, were the cocktail rings of their day. Rings that were worn in the spirit of the thoroughly modern and revolutionary Jazz Age, those incredible roaring 20’s! And it is not surprising that despite their age, these baubles have the power to command our attention and our desire to possess and enjoy them. Very pristine condition consistent with age and wear. Celebrate Yourself and consider this exciting 1920’s diamond ring as your very own personal treat to Yourself today. Make Yourself Happy! And if that won’t be the case, imagine just how Happy you will make that special woman in your life by gifting this fabulous Art Deco diamond ring, this little piece of history, as a token of your loving care and affection.
