Vintage 1.01 ct tw diamond white gold and platinum engagement ring, circa 1935.
The vintage 1.01 carat total weight white gold and platinum engagement ring is a testament to the changing designs of the late Art Deco era to the beginning of Retro period. The center diamond is bezel set followed by smaller round diamonds bead set amongst the pierced work. The sides of the ring are hand-chased, as seen in the pictures.
SPECIFICATIONS:
CENTER DIAMOND: One Old-European cut diamond weighing approximately 0.65 carat, approximately SI clarity G color.
SMALLER DIAMONDS: 12 old single cut diamonds total approximately 0.36 carat, approximately SI clarity, H-I color.
METAL: The top of ring where the diamonds are set is Platinum and the rest below is 18k white gold.
WEIGHT: 4.6 grams.
MEASUREMENTS: 8.5mm wide towards the fingernail and 19mm wide across the finger.
RING SIZE: Size 6, and it can be sized.
CONDITION: high magnification photographs show considerable design details, and this ring is in good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
