Georgian Mourning Ring in 18k Yellow Gold with Enamel Circa 1814.

This Georgian Mourning Ring, made in 18k yellow gold and black enameling, is dated 1814.  The ring has a center crystal that is well-worn and along the the band it is written " ANN CROYDON OB 15 FEB 1814 AE 86".  Which means that Ann Croydon passed on February 15, 1814 and she was 86 years old.  This ring was well made, being inside round, it's very comfortable on the finger.  And it has been well loved as there is a lot of enamel defiency, which does not take away from the beauty of this ring.
