Scroll down for detailed specifications.  This is a thought-provoking design.  A large cushion-shaped amethyst, like a present, ribbon-tied on the top side of the ring.  The ribbon motif is micro-set with diamonds throughout, and it continues onto the sides forming the shoulders to the rest of the shank.  A great deal of thought has been employed in the creation of this design with its light and airy appearance, including the use of rose-colored gold to achieve a greater contrast with the vibrant purple of the large amethyst.  It’s a looker.

PRIMARY GEMSTONE:  one cushion-shaped amethyst weighing approximately 16.50 carats.

DIAMONDS:  one hundred eight round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.50 carat, approximately H-I color, VS clarity.

METAL:  18-karat rose gold.

WEIGHT:  10.9 grams.

RING SIZE: approximately 7.

MEASUREMENTS:  approximately ¾” (20 mm) wide vertical to the fingernail and 11/16” (17 mm) wide across the finger.

CONDITION:  high magnification photographs show considerable design details, and this ring is in good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
