Edwardian transformable diamond pearl platinum and gold brooch pendant necklace circa 1910. *

ABOUT THIS ITEM:  #N-DJ627F. Scroll down for specifications.  Two very different jewels combined in one transformable, garland style, Edwardian creation.  As can be seen in the photographs, the pin stem and catch can be unscrewed when the piece is worn as a necklace.  Notably, the chain portion, which is decorated by a diamond-set rectangular motif, attaches by means of concealed and specially designed hooks on the backside.  Conversely, the jewel can be worn as a brooch.  Versatility of this kind is marvelous, conveyed in such a lovely and delicate-looking treasure.
