Sapphire and diamond platinum engagement ring circa 1950.

DETAILS:  A7867

DIAMONDS: two tapered baguettes totaling approximately 0.20 carat, approximately H color, VS clarity.

GEMSTONES: one round, faceted blue sapphire weighing approximately 1.11 carats.

METAL: platinum.

RING SIZE: approximately 6 ½, can be resized.

MEASUREMENTS: approximately ¼” (6 mm) diameter and 5/8” (16 mm) wide across the finger.

CONDITION: high magnification photographs show a very pristine condition consistent with age and wear, and design detail.

NOTE: this is an iconic, very traditional, and timeless engagement ring design from the 1950s.
