1915 Champleve Blue Enamel and Gold Vinaigrette Necklace by Carter & Gough

An antique 14-karat gold and champleve blue enamel vinaigrette pendant with maker's marks for Carter & Gough, circa 1915.  In very pristine condition, the hinged disc pendant opens to a compartment fitted with a small piece of cloth that can be infused with fragrance.  A delicate open work serpentine motif on both covers allows air to flow through and disperse the scent.  The front cover centers upon an open work milegrained flower motif with a bezel-set round diamond weighing approximately 0.02 carat, suspended from it's original Y chain necklace decorated at intervals with matching blue enamel baton links.  Unique and in very pristine condition.
