Mid Century Emerald and Diamond Ring

Emeralds and diamonds make such a dynamic combination.  Elizabeth Taylor sure loved it.  She even named a perfume after it.  This ring is a charmer and at first glance the eyes are tricked into believing that the stones are arranged randomly, but that isn't so.  It is all very uniform and geometric, a beautiful example of mid 20th century jewelry... airs of modernism.  Nine emeralds and nine diamonds, the nine round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.90 carat, mounted in 14 karat white gold.  Modernist emerald and diamond ring circa 1950.
